Childrens Ministry

Hammond New Harvest Worship Center ministers to children of all ages. A nursery is provided for Worship services on Sunday mornings. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. each Sunday followed by morning service at 11 a.m.

God's Chosen Children ministers to children ages 5-12. The children gather in the sanctuary at 11 a.m. and are dismissed after praise and worship. They learn the gift of giving and the children do give with a merry heart. Then they are dismissed to the fellowship hall for a service geared to teach, train, and minister children to become involved in worship. The teachers have a passion to train children to become active worshipers so that when they graduate to the Fanatic Youth Ministries they will be ready to put into practice the training recieved from God's Chosen Children. Service times are 11:30 a.m. until Pastor dismisses the adults.

God's Chosen Children also meet on Wednesday night from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. We meet for 3 classes lasting approximatley 20 minutes each. Miss Gayle has object lessons with snacks and drinks, Miss Janie has Bible application, usually a worksheet is used enforcing the lesson, Miss Cindy has craft class which applies the Bible lesson in the form of a craft.
