Womens Ministries

Women have been a vital part of the church since its beginning. Our predecessors – strong, courageous, dedicated women – have passed the torch to this generation. Our goal is to serve women by offering them ministry tools to encourage and empower them in Christian service. Our purpose is to encourage spiritual growth, personal development, and leadership among women; and to contribute to the general welfare of the home, church, community, and world.

Ladies’ Ministries is not an independent segment of the church but a vital part of it, contributing in every way possible to the whole body. It functions under the direction of the pastor and is in complete harmony with other departments of ministry. Our goal of Knowing God and Making Him Known is being realized as we participate in and support these ministries. Ladies’ Ministries focuses on several objectives: building relationships, teamwork, and communication to minister with a united purpose and equipping women for ministry through spiritual growth, discipleship, and service. Every lady is encouraged to find her place in ministry.

Ladies’ Ministries offers opportunities to be involved in ministry throughout the year. The Ladies sponsor/support the children in our local church, the community and our Home for Children in TN. They serve the widows/widowers and senior citizens through special support and service throughout the year. They are involved in spiritual enrichment services, prayer, and Bible study to encourage spiritual growth. During the winter holidays, they raise monies to support these ministries by making peanut brittle and donations. They contribute to the other avenues of ministry in the local church with support, donations, service, and prayer.
